RI Council 94 in Cranston, RI seeks a Social Case Worker II to provide culturally sensitive social services to children and families within the SIS-A unit. This full-time, 8:30am–4:00pm position supports Court-related duties and family preservation efforts.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have at least two years’ experience in family and children services; bilingual abilities are strongly encouraged and SIS-A certification is required on hire and annually

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sociology, psychology, social work, child development, or related field.
• Two years of experience in the field of family and children services.
• SIS-A certification on hire and annually thereafter; bilingual candidates strongly encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Perform casework duties and specialized work in child and family services, including family preservation and reintegration.
• Maintain psycho-social histories and case plans to guide care and treatment for children and families.
• Coordinate with other social agencies to meet unusually complex needs and ensure service delivery.
