Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to safeguard clients across industries including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. You will conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and uphold site-specific security procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Starting pay is $16.39 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D and disability insurance plus retirement plans; eligible for paid holidays and vacation after one year.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law; qualified applicants with criminal histories may be considered
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site policies
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; duties vary by client site
