Thrive Therapies Group is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to support K-12 students in Bellingham, WA. This contract freelancer role focuses on psycho-educational evaluations, eligibility decisions, and collaboration with educators and families.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop supports that improve student outcomes, participate in IEP discussions, and ensure culturally responsive, equitable practices in school settings.

Qualifications

• Active School Psychologist license, certification, or credential required based on Tennessee state and district requirements
• Experience conducting psycho educational assessments in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Knowledge of special education processes, eligibility determination, and IEP development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families

Responsabilités

• Conduct psycho educational evaluations and reevaluations for K-12 students
• Interpret assessment results and provide clear educational recommendations
• Participate in eligibility determination meetings and IEP meetings
• Support students through mental health consultation and crisis response
• Partner with school teams on RTI/MTSS and early intervention efforts
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Promote culturally responsive and equitable evaluation practices
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
