Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Consults with parents, students, and school personnel including Child Study Team activities.
  • Provides inservice education to school staff and parent/community groups.
  • Attends staffings and case conferences; conducts comprehensive assessments as needed.
  • Follows NASP ethics and participates in Crisis Intervention Team activities as required.
  • Maintains documentation of all services and related insurance claims.

Education

Master's Degree in School Psychology
Florida certification as a specialist in school psychology
One year's internship per NASP standards
Experience as a school psychologist desirable
