Job summary

Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the 2026-27 school year to support students across a 65-school district in Cincinnati, Ohio. The OT will address physical, cognitive and sensory factors affecting learning, implementing services within multidisciplinary teams and sustaining high-quality student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy License issued by the State of Ohio Board
• Valid Ohio School Physical Therapist Teacher License

Responsibilities

• Conduct Occupational Therapy screenings according to state and federal standards.
• Develop and write IEPs; participate in multidisciplinary planning.
• Provide OT services using various service delivery models in collaboration with school teams.
• Complete documentation through progress notes and reports.
• Train teachers and parents to support the child’s IEP.
• Supervise OT Assistant if indicated.
• Attend district and staff committees as needed.
