Job summary

Soliant is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to join our team near Rochelle, IL. You will provide direct OT services three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday), totaling 22.5 hours, through hands-on therapy, assessments, and collaboration with educators.

You must hold an Illinois OT license or eligibility, have school experience preferred, and be able to contribute to IEP development and documentation while supporting pre-K students with individualized plans.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois.
• Experience in school settings preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP development and documentation.
• Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies for pre-K students.
• Effective communicator with teachers, parents, and specialists.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT services to a caseload of 20-30 pre-K students weekly.
• Administer assessments and contribute to special education evaluations.
• Participate in IEP meetings with professional recommendations and documentation.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support student goals.
• Communicate progress with caregivers and school staff.
