Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with credentials valid for school-based practice in New York.
• Ability to manage caseloads independently across multiple sites.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions to students with various needs.
• Develop and execute treatment plans aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress.
• Consult regularly with special education teams to monitor and support student goals.
• Educate staff and families on strategies for integrating physical therapy into the school day.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding therapy services.
