Supplemental Health Care is seeking a local contract School Physical Therapist for a Ramona, California assignment.

Role: School-based Physical Therapist. Start ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks, with possible extension to 52 weeks. 10 hours per week on 2-hour daytime shifts. Pay: $48.25-$51.95 per hour with a $3,000 assignment bonus available; conditions apply. Travel between school locations may be required, and supervision of assistants possible.

Qualifications

• California Physical Therapist License
• American Heart Association BLS
• Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results
• Evaluates students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services
• Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals
• Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians
• May be asked to travel between school locations
• May be asked to supervise assistants
