Qualifications

Valid California State License to practice Occupational Therapy.
Valid Driver’s License.
Current CPR/BLS Card.
Current Negative TB Result.
Background check and drug test.
Fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

Implement activity therapy goals for motor control and developmental skills per IEP/IFSP.
Assess student needs through formal and informal measures.
Develop and implement intervention strategies per child’s IEP/IFSP.
Prepare written material concisely and timely.
Participate in conferences including parent meetings.
Maintain a healthy, safe and attractive environment.
Address special needs and accommodations for hearing impaired or physically challenged children.
Respond quickly to child/parent requests and inform supervisor of actions taken.
Promote teamwork and cooperation within the care team.
