Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our respiratory care team and contribute to patient rehabilitation and well-being. You will access cutting-edge equipment and work in a supportive environment dedicated to compassionate care and professional growth.

As part of our respiratory care family, you will provide direct patient care, supervise breathing treatments, assess patients, and develop personalized care plans to promote independence and recovery.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
