Encompass Health is recruiting a Respiratory Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team, focused on compassionate, patient-centered care and recovery outcomes. You will work with advanced equipment in a supportive, performance-driven environment aimed at guiding patients toward independence and wellbeing.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, care plan development, and collaborative assessment with physicians and therapists, with full benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
