Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of East Valley seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct patient care, perform breathing treatments, and oversee care plans within a supportive inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, utilize advanced equipment, and contribute to patient independence and recovery. Required license and CPR; ACLS preferred; two years hospital experience recommended.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Supervise care and breathing treatments, lead patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
