Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Danbury seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our patient-centered team. You will provide respiratory therapy, manage treatments, and support rehabilitation and recovery for patients with respiratory challenges in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in need of medical gas and breathing therapy modalities and medications.
• Supervise care and breathing treatments, lead patient assessments, and create personalized care plans.
• Understand patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs to support recovery and celebrate progress.
