Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will provide direct care for patients needing respiratory therapies, supervise breathing treatments, and contribute to individualized care plans within a supportive, nationwide network.

Qualified candidates hold a state license in Respiratory Therapy, CPR certification, and ideally ACLS certification plus two years of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring medical gas, breathing therapy, and medications.
• Supervise care and breathing treatments; lead patient assessments and create care plans.
• Address patient concerns and tailor plans to support recovery and safety.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress along the treatment journey.
