Job summary

Recovery Corps is administered by Ampact as part of its healthy futures program. We’re seeking a Recovery Project Coordinator to help local organizations address the opioid epidemic and expand recovery services.

You’ll work with communities, collect data, coordinate projects, mobilize volunteers, and support workforce development. This is a full- or part-time AmeriCorps position for the 2026-27 year, with 40 hours weekly, day shifts, and stipends paid biweekly.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance and reliability.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Support projects such as facilitating research and data collection.
• Lead focus groups and advance health campaigns.
• Mobilize volunteers and create education campaigns.
• Conduct training on pathways to recovery and workforce development.
• Commit to growth through training and professional development.
• Share experience with the community.
