Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Stoughton is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) for a 13-week assignment at $60 per hour. The role involves performing routine therapy, diagnostics, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, with phlebotomy and basic lab duties as needed.

Requirements include state licensure to practice respiratory care, current BLS and ACLS, and, if applicable, Nevada blood gas licensure. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• The Respiratory Care Practitioner performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
