Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. You will deliver high-quality, compassionate care and support patient progress under supervision.

You'll collaborate with therapists, physicians, and staff across departments to ensure compliance with guidelines and help patients regain function and independence in a welcoming, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess state licensure or certification to practice physical therapy.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program preferred.
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy treatment.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment under supervision, following regulations and guidelines.
• Execute delegated PTA tasks to support patient progress.
• Maintain clear, collaborative communication across hospital departments to meet patient and staff needs.
