Job summary

Openhouse seeks a Programs Coordinator & Trainer to support Community Engagement Programs in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role combines on-site coordination with off-site training delivery, requiring strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Responsible for direct program support, administrative tasks, and delivering inclusive trainings related to LGBTQIA+ issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years coordinating, developing, and implementing activities/events.
• 2+ years collaborating across departments for program delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning new software/tools.
• Creative problem solving and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Direct program support for CE programs on-site and off-site to increase connection and well-being.
• Manage logistics for events, including virtual programming and materials inventory.
• Oversee RSVPs, phone/email communications, and attendance outreach.
• Maintain program data forms, sign-in sheets, registrations, and surveys per funder requirements.
• Deliver trainings on LGBTQIA+ topics in person or virtually and collect participant feedback.
• Support outreach and marketing for training programs and services.
