Job summary

VytlOne is seeking a dedicated Prescription Access Liaison in the Maury Regional Health Outpatient Pharmacy. The role supports a team-based approach, coordinating with clinicians and pharmacy staff to provide enhanced prescriptive care beyond routine practice.

Flexibility to work 7am–5pm is required. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, TN license, and national certification (PTCB/NHA).

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • TN Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience in a high-volume setting; specialty experience preferred.
  • National Pharmacy Technician certification from PTCB or NHA required.

Responsibilities

  • Answer new referral intake and/or refill calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Accurately input new referrals and update information in designated computer systems.
  • Coordinate with referral sources to obtain information to initiate services for new patient referrals.
  • Enter new referral prescriptions into computer and have pharmacist verify accuracy of entries.
  • Discuss financial obligations with new patients and assist with insurance/reimbursement processes.
  • Follow up on authorizations to ensure they are achieved prior to dispensing.
  • Schedule dispensing calendar for new or refill customers.
  • Assist in maintaining patient records and compliance with accreditation standards.
