Acelero Learning is seeking a Preschool Teacher - P-3 Certified in New Jersey to deliver instructional and behavioral support in a Head Start classroom serving up to fifteen 3–5-year-old children. You will collaborate with an assistant, families, and staff to achieve strong outcomes for diverse learners.

This 10-month role involves implementing a structured curriculum, documenting progress, and ensuring safety and developmentally appropriate practice in every activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• New Jersey P-3 Teacher Certification required.
• Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.
• Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
• Must have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Implements a child-centered curriculum and environment fostering positive social interaction and active engagement for 3–5-year-olds.
• Addresses challenging behaviors by observing causes and partnering with families to support at home.
• Documents progress using observations and anecdotal notes to individualize curriculum.
• Partners with families to establish positive interaction patterns across program, school, and home.
• Provides developmentally appropriate experiences in literacy, numeracy and language using print-rich environments and varied experiences.
