Job summary

Our Client in Moses Lake, WA is seeking a Physical Therapist for a permanent, on-site role. Bring your clinical judgment to connect rehabilitation with practical goals in a 111-bed skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Washington Physical Therapy licensure or eligibility, with licensure completed before practice.
• Appropriate accredited education and clinical qualifications for physical therapy practice.
• Sound clinical reasoning, clear communication and a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to assess, plan, deliver and document care within scope and to complete client screening and credential requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate functional needs and movement or mobility limitations, and develop individualized treatment goals.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions, reassess progress and adapt the plan of care as needs change.
• Use exercise, gait, balance, strength and functional mobility strategies to connect treatment with activities that matter to each person.
• Explain techniques clearly and help patients and caregivers participate safely in care.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation and care team so treatment goals connect with daily activities.
• Document evaluations, interventions and progress accurately and promptly, communicate relevant changes, and follow professional standards and safety practices.
