Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient progress through high-quality, compassionate care in our rehabilitative setting.

You will work under supervision providing delegated tasks, deliver evidence-based PT treatments, and communicate across departments to meet patient and team needs while upholding regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• State licensure or certification required.
• CPR certification preferred (as per hospital policy).
• Completion of an accredited physical therapy program preferred.
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy treatment in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Execute delegated physical therapy assistant tasks under supervision to support patient progress.
• Maintain transparent communication across hospital departments to meet patient and staff needs.
