• Graduate from an approved APTA PTA program and licensed/eligible in practice state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises per treatment plan.
• Provide, monitor and record therapy services under supervision of a physical therapist.
• Document patient responses and outcomes and communicate with the PT as needed.
• Support post-acute, long-term care, and home health care interventions as assigned.
