Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in Pediatrics-Acute Care. You will evaluate, plan and treat pediatric patients, document care, and educate families and staff while promoting professional growth within a leading healthcare system.

Successful candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, active state licensure, and CPR certification; CCC from ASHA is preferred and acute care experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Successful completion of Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, program planning and treatment in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Conduct assessments and treatment activities with pediatric patients.
• Document care and educate patients, families, hospital staff and students.
• Support patients to reach maximum potential through high-quality care.
