Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for Med Surg 4 Blue. This full-time role offers a 36-hour week on a 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM schedule, three days per week.

You will provide hands-on patient care in an acute setting, participate in training to build technical skills, and collaborate with nurses and staff to maintain high standards of care. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and current BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BCLS certification required and kept current.
• UAP training or equivalent competency required or to be met per regulatory requirements.
• Has completed a nursing/NPN licensure candidacy or related healthcare training may be considered.
• Experience in healthcare settings providing clinical care under supervision preferred.
