Job summary

Flint Public Schools is seeking Paraprofessionals to work directly with teachers in Flint, Michigan. You will support students who need extra encouragement, structure, and belief in their abilities, becoming a steady, supportive presence in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree (60+ college credits) or Michigan Paraprofessional Certification.
• Strong passion for working with children and supporting their growth.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with classroom teachers to support instruction for individuals and small groups.
• Help implement lesson plans, learning activities, and behavior support strategies.
• Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs, including IEP students.
• Monitor and document student progress and communicate observations to teachers.
• Assist with classroom management, transitions, and day-to-day operations.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for every student.
