Job summary

The Kent School District seeks a Paraeducator at Meridian Middle School to support students in 4 hours LAP and 1 hour Title I para duties, totaling 5 hours per day during a 189-day calendar.

Hourly salary ranges from $29.43 to $36.18, with placement based on verified experience in an educational setting. Salary is annualized and spread through August as part of the KAP Salary Schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate (AA) degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• 72 college level credits from an accredited institution
• A score of 455 or higher on the ETS ParaPro Assessment and proof of high school completion or equivalent.
• If you do not yet meet one of these qualifications and are willing to take the ParaPro Assessment, you can still apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in LAP and Title I programs as a paraeducator.
• Collaborate with Meridian Middle School staff to support instruction and student needs.
