Job summary

Campbell County Middle School in Alexandria, KY seeks a Paraeducator ACE Room to support instructional activities and student supervision. This role reports to the Principal and requires assisting certified staff with individual or small-group instruction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required by Kentucky law.
• Experience working with children in an organized setting is expected.
• Ability to lift 130 pounds as part of the job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Tutor or assist students individually or in small groups as directed by the teacher.
• Monitor student progress and report to the principal or teacher.
• Assist with preparing lessons and organizing materials as directed.
• Administer and score tests according to guidelines; help determine English proficiency.
• Monitor student behavior and support positive classroom activities.
• Perform routine clerical duties and maintain attendance records.
• Provide setup for work areas and distribute supplies.
• Supervise students during labs and field trips; assist with health and safety practices.
