Job summary

AristaCare Health Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist to plan, organize, develop, and direct OT services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. The role involves evaluating residents, creating treatment plans, and ensuring CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.

Work with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality resident care. The position requires a BS in Occupational Therapy, active NJ OT licensure, and commitment to ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Occupational Therapy Licensure in New Jersey.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.
• Commitment to maintaining current licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapist services to residents in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Adhere to documentation and billing procedures for Occupational Therapy services.
• Evaluate residents to obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans with short and long-term goals and methods to achieve identified objectives.
• Communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR systems.
