Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Methodist Women’s Hospital team in Omaha, NE. This PRN/Casual role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety, accuracy in medication administration, and clear communication with the care team.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN required; ADN with approved plan to obtain BSN/MSN within 5 years.
• Current Nebraska RN license in good standing; BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care per population criteria.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to determine care needs.
• Develop, review, and revise individualized care plans with providers.
• Implement interventions per plan of care, following standards and policies.
• Evaluate outcomes and document patient responses; give SBAR at shift change.
• Maintain professional behavior and participate in PI and team collaboration.
• Administer medications safely and monitor for adverse reactions.
