Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center at International Plaza seeks a Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing care for cancer patients in outpatient clinics, including Breast, GI, GU, Head & Neck-Endocrine, Radiation Oncology and Supportive Care. The role includes triaging calls and coordinating patient education and discharge planning.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida RN license (or eligible for endorsement), a BSN or ASN with at least one year of relevant experience, and ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Radiation Oncology experience as a registered nurse.
• Outpatient clinic experience as a registered nurse.
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
• Flexibility to work until 6:00pm as patient needs require.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care for cancer patients and families.
• Provides patient education based on learning needs.
• Participates in evidence-based improvement activities and professional development.
• Maintains adherence to hospital guidelines, ANA code of ethics, and regulatory requirements.
