Job summary

Rehabilitation Hospital of Athens is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our compassionate inpatient team in Georgia. You will provide direct care, assess patients, and develop personalized treatment plans to promote independence and quality of life.

In this role, you supervise care and treatments, collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team, document progress, and celebrate patient victories along the recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's Degree preferred

Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience
