Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed programs to help patients reach maximum potential.

Eligible candidates hold an accredited OT degree, current or Missouri-licensed OT with up to 90 days temporary license, and a Current BLS certification. NBOT preferred. This is a full-time, day-shift role with Mercy benefits and opportunities to contribute to department growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Licensure: Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within Missouri; temporary license up to 90 days.
• Certifications: Current BLS.
• Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred Certifications: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.

• Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs to achieve maximum potential.
• Promotes growth and development of the department by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
