Qualifications

• State teacher licensure/certification with endorsements.
• Bachelor's degree with subject emphasis or related experience.
• Commitment to student learning success.
• Experience in tutoring or teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and enforce behavior standards.
• Plan lessons aligned with state standards and school curriculum.
• Develop and submit lesson plans; collaborate with instructional coach for feedback.
• Collaborate with special education staff to support students with IEPs and include accommodations.
• Collaborate on grant-funded programs to accelerate learning for diverse needs.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with parents regularly.
• Maintain professional competencies through workshops and courses.
• Inform school leadership about instructional resources and participate in school teams.
• May participate in extracurricular activities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
