Job summary

AMS is a network of high-performing K–8 public charter schools serving Phoenix-area communities. We are hiring Middle School English Language Arts teachers for immediate openings at AMS Flower, AMS Desert Sky, and AMS Peoria Advanced, starting July 20, 2026, for the 2026–2027 school year.

These full-time, on-site positions emphasize rigorous instruction, data-driven planning, PBIS practices, and collaborative PLCs to support student achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or a related field.
• OR a valid Arizona teaching certificate in a relevant subject area.
• OR a minimum of three (3) years of K–12 teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned English Language Arts instruction using AMS curriculum frameworks.
• Differentiate instruction to support students at different levels.
• Use formative and summative data to drive instructional planning and interventions.
• Develop reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and critical thinking skills.
