Job summary

Vitalant in Denver, CO is hiring Medical Laboratory Scientists for high-complexity testing in immunohematology. You will perform antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross matches to support transfusion services and patient care.

This float position offers base wage 38.00 - 43.00 per hour with home base hours 11:00-19:30, shift 2, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, tuition assistance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, MLS eligible or MT/MLS certification within 12 months.
• State licensure as required by regulations.
• Certification as Medical Technologist/MLS/BB or MT/MLS preferred or 12-month window to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross match.
• Produce, process, and labeling of blood components and donations.
• Review and report test results, participate in investigations, quality control, validations.
• Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services.
