Job summary

Snelling Charlotte is seeking an Order Picker to support a busy warehouse and food distribution operation. This role focuses on manual order picking and staging products for outbound distribution, with occasional powered equipment used when needed.

The environment is collaborative and community-focused, with daily interaction alongside volunteers and warehouse team members. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule and a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehouse experience, preferably in picking or distribution.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and perform manual picking.
• Experience with pallet jacks or basic warehouse equipment is a plus but not required daily.

Responsibilities

• Manually pick and stage orders based on pick lists and routing.
• Organize and prepare products for outbound distribution.
• Ensure accurate order fulfillment and proper product handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse workspace.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment only when required (reach truck, stand-up forklift, rare cherry picker).
• Work alongside volunteers and team members to keep operations running smoothly.
