Healthcare Deciphered is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for opportunities across multiple states. The role focuses on outpatient medical services in home or school settings, with travel to patient locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license for the state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience.
• Reliable vehicle or transportation to patient locations.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• HIPAA compliance and credentialing prior to interview.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the healthcare needs of patients with special medical requirements.
• Administer medications and medical procedures as directed by physicians.
• Provide first aid within the scope of licensure (following American Red Cross and Department of Health guidelines).
• Maintain accurate health records and medical documentation.
• Assist with health screenings and maintain results logs.
• Uphold patient confidentiality, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Perform additional nursing duties under the Nurse Practice Act.
