Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Kenneth Honey Rubenstein Juvenile Center in Davis, WV.

You will work under RNs and medical providers delivering hands-on care to a diverse patient population, with opportunities across full-time, part-time, and per-diem schedules. You’ll administer medications, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, provide wound care, and contribute to documentation and care planning.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted LPN license in state of practice.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).
• Active CPR certification.
• Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Assist with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient conditions.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes.
• Support documentation and care planning.
• Promote hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment.
• Serve as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
