Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of optometry.
• Active ME license preferred.
• Board Certification by NBEO.
• Experience in FQHC or high-volume Medicaid setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality eye care and emergency treatment to a diverse patient population.
• Examine eyes and visual systems to diagnose problems or impairments.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide comprehensive treatment plans.
• Prescribe therapeutic drugs to treat specific eye conditions as needed.
• Work collaboratively across two campus locations (South Patten and Houlton) within an FQHC setting.
