Chambliss, Bahner, Stophel, P.C in Chattanooga, TN seeks an experienced litigation paralegal to support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation. You will manage case materials, draft pleadings and discovery, perform legal research, and coordinate trial preparation on-site.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience and proficiency with Word, Excel, Westlaw, e-filing, and document management systems. Attention to detail and client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related experience in litigation support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, DocuSign, Westlaw, and e-filing procedures.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication and professional collaboration.
• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity.
• Commitment to continuous learning and current industry knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, review, compile, and organize case/client materials and maintain file indexes.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, summonses, motions, complaints, and related documents.
• Prepare discovery requests/responses and maintain indexes of production materials.
• Prepare/state and federal court filings and e-filings with deadline tracking.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other databases for depositions/hearings/trials.
• Coordinate trial preparation, witnesses, experts, and exhibit organization.
• Coordinate hearing/trial dates with courts, opposing counsel, and clients.
• Maintain ongoing client communication and case-status updates.
• Coordinate service of process and calendar preparation for appearances.
• Oversee opening/closing of client matters and internal conflict checks.
