Job summary

Alpha seeks a Learning Coach to guide K-3 students through workshops and personalized coaching on life skills like communication and focus. You’ll spend half your time leading energetic one-hour workshops and the other half coaching students individually, using Coachbot analytics to track progress toward ambitious weekly goals.

This on-site, full-time role supports students across campuses including Malibu and beyond, with relocation assistance and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years of experience working directly with children ages 4-9.
• Experience leading group activities for young children with engagement.
• Track record of motivating young children to achieve challenging goals, with specific examples.
• Comfort using AI-powered learning while focusing on coaching and life-skill development.
• Ability to balance warmth with unwavering expectations.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging life-skills workshops for K-3 students (communication, focus, feedback).
• Coach students one-on-one and in small groups using Coachbot analytics to track progress toward weekly goals.
• Assess life-skill mastery through Alpha's framework until true understanding is shown.
• Adapt coaching style to cohort needs using songs, movement, and storytelling when needed.
• Build strong relationships so students feel supported to stretch beyond perceived limits.
