Job summary

Ravenwood Specialty Care in Waterloo, IA is hiring a Laundry Aide to support resident comfort and facility cleanliness. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute clothing and linens while following infection prevention guidelines and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry or housekeeping is preferred.
• Ability to complete assignments promptly.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, linens, and facility laundry according to procedures.
• Operate laundry equipment safely while following infection prevention guidelines.
• Ensure clothing and linens are clean, labeled, and returned to the correct areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Follow schedules and task lists to support daily operations.
• Work cooperatively with team members to support resident comfort and facility cleanliness.
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, and staff.
