Responsibilities

• Insurance Verification: Verify that sufficient information is available for accurate verification and eligibility; may require contact with physician offices or patients.
• Authorization: Obtain authorizations from insurance companies/physician offices and ensure information is entered into the system; verify expiry and include CPT codes and effective dates.
• Financial Orientation: Calculate co-pay and estimated co-insurance; explain center financial policy to patients.
