Job summary

The Clinical Research Unit (CRU) at Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Infusion RN I for the McKinley location. The CRU supports clinical investigational research by monitoring patients in trials and administering investigational agents in an outpatient setting, serving 40–80 patients daily with 30–60 treatments.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN with 1+ year or ASN with 2 years of experience, have a Florida RN license and BLS, and should be prepared to complete NPDB

Qualifications

• BSN from accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience or ASN from an accredited institution with 2 years of relevant experience.
• FL RN license
• BLS certification
• NPDB requirement and advice to run NPDB Self-Query before applying

Responsibilities

• Identifies documents and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Facilitates clinical research activity by performing ongoing assessments, administering nursing care and protocol-therapy, monitoring of patients, delivering patient education, and documenting care for patients enrolled on clinical trials.
