Responsibilities

• Develops rapport with coaching staff within the school.
• Organizes coaching staff and coaches players.
• Develops positive relationships with participants, student body, faculty, parents and community.
• Emphasizes proper conduct during practices and games.
• Attends league and WVSSAC meetings and follows policies.
• Performs duties related to coaching, safety, and equipment care.
• Supervises staff, manages practice organization, and plans pre-season activities.
• Completes WVSSAC Training & Certification and Kanawha County Staff Development on Concussions.
