Job summary

The Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) seeks an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Greater Boston. The role balances full-cycle recruitment with broad HR duties, including onboarding, offboarding, leave management, ADA accommodations, and HRIS maintenance in UKG.

You will partner across departments to deliver a best-in-class employee experience in a mission-driven nonprofit. The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of HR generalist experience, familiarity with nonprofit contexts,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a nonprofit.
• Experience with recruitment, compliance, project management, HRIS, and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for openings and internships with hiring managers.
• Manage postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers.
• Ensure a consistent, equitable candidate experience across hiring.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for staff.
• Track recruitment metrics and drive continuous improvement.
