• Demonstrated ability to work in a cooperative relationship with other teachers in curriculum plans.

Responsibilities

• Helps students learn subject matter and skills contributing to their development.
• Plans a program of study meeting individual needs and capabilities with written evidence upon request.
• Creates a conducive classroom environment aligned with goals and communicates objectives clearly.
• Guides learning toward curriculum goals and establishes clear lesson objectives.
• Employs appropriate instructional methods and materials to meet objectives.
• Assesses student progress regularly and provides reports.
• Counsels with colleagues, students and/or parents regularly.
• Maintains records as required by policy and regulations.
• Participates in staff meetings and collaborates on curriculum development.
