Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certificate licensed to teach in the specified grade/subject
• Criminal background check as required by WV Code
• Meet WV Code §18A-3-2a qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement WV academic standards, content, and objectives
• Implement adopted and supplemental academic programs
• Utilize technology skills in instruction
• Collaborate to support inclusion with special education students
• Administer formative assessments
• Plan and implement co‑teaching when appropriate
• Monitor student achievement and plan academic support
• Communicate with students, parents, and peers
• Lead designated co‑curricular activities and field trips
• Maintain professional conduct and responsibilities
