Job summary

Bellevue School District in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Assistant Coach to support the high school athletic program in accordance with WIAA and KINGCO regulations. Responsibilities include supporting the head coach, attending games and practices, ensuring awareness of season schedules, and coordinating duties with the athletic director.

Requires a high school diploma, 19+ years old, and current first aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 19 years of age.
Current first aid and CPR cards required.

Responsibilities

Support the high school in its entire program and strive to improve professional relations within the educational system and coaching profession.
Be loyal to and support the head coach in conducting the athletic program of that sport.
Be fully aware of the number of games, matches, etc., as specified by the WIAA.
Assume duties assigned by the head coach pertaining to the overall athletic program.
Assist the Head Coach in all matters relative to the sports season.
Accompany and direct the assigned team to all games and practices.
Assume responsibilities of the Head Coach in their absence if designated.
Be accountable to the Head Coach, Athletic Director, and Principal; direct questions to them.
Comply with WIAA coaching clock hour program.
Assume all other responsibilities as may be assigned.
